The Lake

General Information

Quarry Lakes Swims
Quarry Lakes Swims

Quarry Lakes is a 6.2-acre fishing destination with 5 single and 1 double swim for carp anglers.

Each swim has plenty of features to fish to.

The swims are all graveled, built up with sleepers and some have platforms to provide a spacious living space, as well as easy access to the water for playing and landing fish, and for getting bait boats in and out, regardless of the current water levels.

Stock

In November 2023, we added 70 carp including 4 of 50lb+ and 16 of 40lb+.

To give you an idea of what you might expect, our most recent 50lb common (June 2024), was put in at 42lb just 7 months previously.

There are crayfish present, but these have not caused us any issues eating baits during our test fishing sessions. The crayfish are probably one of the main reasons that our carp are growing so quickly!

The original stock stood at around 80 fish, we are confident that these include a  good number of large originals.

You’ll be pleased to learn that we do not have any Poisson Chat at Quarry Lakes.
