One Man And His Dog

 

It’s come to the end of our work and carp fishing session at Quarry Lakes in Britanny, France, but Jock and I have had a really good time.

 

I’ve managed to get some important work done around the lake, putting some finishing touches on some of the swims.

 

And I managed to squeeze in a nice bit of fishing time during the second week.

 

My fishing had its ups and downs  but I had some beautiful fish.

 

11 takes, landed 7

 

One 20lb+, two 30lb+, two 40lbers and three 50s to 54lb 8oz

 

So overall I am very happy with this latest trip. The fish weight gain is fantastic, with up to 12lb growth on carp that we only stocked 9 months ago.

 

Quarry Lakes is on track to become one of the best carp fishing venues in Brittany, France!
